Who we are

This policy applies to Black Forest Digital and any other Magner Labs LLC digital service that links to it. It covers online play, accounts, purchases, alpha access requests, updates signup, participant feedback, problem reports, and product support.

Information you provide

We collect information you choose to provide, such as your email address, display name, Black Forest experience, availability, feedback willingness, support messages, written feedback or reports, and follow-up or marketing choices. Alpha access requests and updates signups may also include the first page path, referring URL, and campaign tags that brought you here.

Accounts and online play

When you use online play, we process account or profile details, persistent game identifiers, room and game membership, gameplay actions and results, rankings, invitations, access grants, and session information. Problem reports may include the page, time, game and session identifiers, and diagnostic context needed to investigate what happened.

Purchases and payment processing

When you begin a purchase, we create a purchase record that may include the selected offer, price and currency, purchase status, your account or game identifier, and a checkout reference. Stripe and Link process the checkout and may collect your payment method, billing address, tax location, email address, and other transaction information under their own privacy terms. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Stripe and Link return transaction identifiers and payment status so we can verify the purchase, grant the included access, provide product support, prevent fraud, and maintain required business and accounting records.

Analytics and service providers

We and our service providers may collect device and browser details, IP-derived location, page visits, referring pages, button clicks, error logs, and gameplay or session events. We use local storage, cookies, or similar technology to maintain sessions and understand how the service is used. Session-replay analytics may help us investigate a report by showing what happened before a problem was submitted. Advertising-measurement tools may tell us whether an outreach campaign led to a visit or signup.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the service, provide online play and paid access, manage alpha participation, respond to support and feedback, improve features, measure outreach, and comply with legal obligations. If you separately opt in to marketing, we may send Black Forest Digital updates, invitations, feature announcements, and offers. Where applicable, we process information to perform our agreement with you, based on your consent, to comply with law, and for legitimate interests such as security, support, and product improvement.

When information is disclosed

We disclose information to providers that help us with hosting, authentication, payments, email, form storage, analytics, security, and support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets. We do not sell personal information for money.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including to keep accounts and purchased access working, investigate problems, satisfy accounting or legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by the type of information. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

International processing

Magner Labs is based in the United States. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy protections may differ from those where you live. We use legally recognized safeguards when they are required.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the instructions in those emails. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain uses. Some information may be retained when required for purchases, security, legal compliance, or other permitted purposes. Contact us to make a request. Children

Black Forest Digital and its forms are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service and our practices change. If a change is material, we will provide notice when required. The effective date shows when the policy was last updated.
